Locke is a great experience. It's an aparthotel with a casual vibe, situtated in a touristic but very lively part of Berlin. And it's directly in front of the river Spree which makes its view beautiful.
The people working in the (24 hour) reception were very polite and helpful.
The studio room had all that was needed for a week-long stay, and fully equipped to cook. It was also very cosy and clean.
Especially the shower cabin was great: Spacious and relaxing.
The hotel is just 10 minutes walking from the Ostbahnhof train station, from which you can go anywhere. Also, Uber Arena and East Side Mall is 5 minutes walking. And both Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg, some of the most lively areas of Berlin, are both in walking distance.
Generally, the concept of Locke is very compatible with longer stays, especially if you want to remote work from Berlin. But it would also work perfectly for a weekend.
In the top floor, you'll also find a fully equipped gym with a nice view.
I'll be back in the future and I hope the hotel maintains its great quality.
